Terms and Conditions
Rules and guidelines for using Skarry’s free online tools and services
Last Updated: April 2026
Hey, welcome to Skarry. Before you dive in, we want to be upfront about how things work around here. We've written these terms in plain language on purpose — no legal jargon, no fine print traps. Just an honest breakdown of what you can expect from us, and what we ask of you.
By using Skarry, you're agreeing to what's written below. If something here doesn't sit right with you, please don't use the site — no hard feelings.
What You're Allowed to Do
We're giving you a personal, non-exclusive license to use Skarry's tools for your own projects. That means you can use the tools as much as you like for personal work — explore, create, experiment.
What you can't do is resell or redistribute what we've built, or use Skarry commercially without talking to us first. If you've got a business use case in mind, just reach out — we're open to conversations.
We're Being Honest About Our Limitations
Skarry is provided as-is. We genuinely want everything to work perfectly, but we can't promise it will. Tools might have bugs, things might break occasionally, and some features might not do exactly what you hoped.
We're a real team working hard on this — but we're not in a position to offer warranties or guarantees about uptime or flawless performance. Use Skarry with that in mind, and please don't stake anything critical on it without a backup plan.
On Liability
If something goes wrong while you're using Skarry — a tool misbehaves, a file upload causes an issue, or the service goes down at a bad time — we're not liable for resulting damages. This includes lost data, lost revenue, or anything indirect that follows.
We know that sounds a bit cold on paper, but it's a standard protection that makes it possible for us to offer free tools without enormous legal risk. We do care if something breaks for you — please let us know so we can fix it.
Your Responsibilities
Using Skarry comes with a few basic responsibilities. Nothing unreasonable — just things that help keep the platform safe and fair for everyone.
- Keep your login credentials to yourself if you create an account.
- Don't upload content that's illegal, malicious, or belongs to someone else without permission.
- Don't use Skarry to harm people, break the law, or do anything you'd be embarrassed to explain.
- Don't try to hack, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the site or its systems.
Content We Won't Allow
Skarry isn't the place for harmful content. Specifically, please don't use it to:
- Upload or distribute illegal or copyrighted material you don't have rights to.
- Create malware, viruses, or anything designed to cause harm.
- Harass, threaten, or abuse other people.
- Violate someone's privacy or intellectual property.
- Spam people or run phishing schemes.
If we see content that crosses these lines, we may remove it or suspend the account — usually with a warning first, unless something is seriously harmful.
What Belongs to Us
Everything on Skarry — the tools, the design, the code, the text — belongs to us or the people we've licensed it from. You're welcome to use it for personal purposes, but please don't copy, redistribute, or build products on top of it without asking.
We've put a lot of work into this, and we appreciate you respecting that.
Links to Other Sites
Sometimes we link to external websites — for resources, references, or inspiration. When you follow those links, you're leaving Skarry, and we're not responsible for what you find there. Always use your own judgment when visiting third-party sites.
Things May Change
We're always working on Skarry, which means tools get updated, features come and go, and occasionally something gets retired. We'll do our best to give a heads-up when something major changes, but we can't always promise advance notice.
Similarly, we might need to take the site down occasionally for maintenance. We're not liable for those interruptions, but we'll try to keep them short and off-peak when possible.
If Something Goes Wrong
If your use of Skarry somehow causes a legal claim against us — whether from a third party or because of something you uploaded or did — you agree to cover our reasonable costs in dealing with that. This is a pretty standard clause, and hopefully one that never comes up.
Legal Stuff
These terms are governed by the laws of wherever Skarry operates. If there's ever a dispute, it'll be handled in the courts of that jurisdiction. We genuinely hope it never comes to that.
Keeping You in the Loop
If we update these terms, we'll change the date at the top of this page. If the changes are significant, we'll try to give you a heads-up. Continuing to use Skarry after an update means you're okay with the new version.
